Hi there, scooter lovers! Kathi MacNaughton here. I'm the owner and primary creator of the Motor-Scooters-Guide.com website. I am also a scooter owner, having bought my Genuine Buddy Series Italia 125cc scooter back in August 2007. I immediately fell in love with scooters upon getting that. And, realizing there was a lack of solid scooter information on the Web at the time, I decided to create an informational website to help other prospective scooter owners like me figure out what they needed to know about scooters and scooting.

Over time, this site has grown and grown, with our Scooter Reviews and Scooter Answers sections being the most popular. As of August 2009, we're getting 400 to 600+ unique visitors to the site everyday. And we're starting to build a small community of repeat visitors too, along with some regular contributors.

So, I thought it was time to start a forum, where scooter lovers could more freely engage in discussion. Hope you enjoy it!
